Oilheat equipment rebates of up to $600 are now available on a first-come, first-serve basis in 2018! This is made possible thanks to the re-launch of the highly successful Discover Efficiency Massachusetts rebate program. The program is coordinated through the Massachusetts Energy Marketers Association (MEMA) and supported by funding from the National Oilheat Research Alliance.
We’re proud that this program has already made a positive difference for so many Massachusetts oilheat customers and we look forward to helping more heating oil customers benefit from rebate-funded equipment upgrades in 2018.
When we introduced the program last year, nearly 1,000 equipment rebates were provided to heating oil consumers. More than 60 heating oil companies were able to help their customers upgrade to new, higher efficiency oil heating systems or new storage tanks while providing them with immediate rebate savings.
For 2018, Massachusetts homeowners can receive rebates that could total as much as $600 when they install a new high-efficiency oilheat system and a new aboveground heating oil tank. Your heating oil dealer can help you qualify for these rebates. Funds are limited for this program and rebates will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Besides these immediate savings, you will save money on heating oil for years to come when you upgrade your equipment. In just the last decade, there have been major improvements to oilheat equipment. The latest systems are small, smart and super-efficient, and can not only keep your home toasty warm, but save you, on average, about 30% on your annual heating costs.
Please visit our Equipment Rebates page, where you can download your rebate coupons and present them to your heating oil dealer at the time of purchase. Remember, if this is the year you want to replace your old oilheat system or storage tank, don’t wait too long. These rebates are only available while funds last.
