Equipment Rebates

Qualify for up to $600 in Rebates for Energy-Efficient Oilheat Equipment

There are many great reasons for Massachusetts homeowners to consider upgrading their heating systems to new, high-efficiency options. And thanks to the equipment rebate program implemented by the Massachusetts Energy Marketers Association with the support of the National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA), there are additional reasons to considering equipment upgrades.

Massachusetts homeowners are now eligible to receive rebates that could total as much as $600 when they install a new high-efficiency heating system and a new aboveground heating oil tank!

Funds are limited for the program and rebates are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted. All rebates are provided through your local heating oil company. The rebate amounts for 2022 are as follows:

  • $250 for a heating oil storage tank
  • $250 for an oil-fired furnace
  • $350 for an oil-fired boiler

The rebates are deducted from the total cost of the installation provided by your local heating oil company. Heating oil customers can access a single rebate for a furnace, boiler, or a storage tank. However, homeowners can also access a combined rebate for a furnace and a storage tank ($500), or a boiler and a storage tank ($600).

Heating oil continues to be one of the best options available to heat your home. And modernizing your home’s heating system is now a lot easier—and affordable.
